Practice Manager
Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse and exciting east-London borough. What we do is driven by changing our relationship with local people to support our vision. As a result, we've developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council.
We're one of the fastest growing parts of the country and the third most diverse London borough. Our communities are attracted by a mixture of excellent schools, relatively affordable housing, high-quality open space and rapid transport connections into the heart of the City.
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Children’s Social Care, Child Protection and Assessment Team. We are looking for a Practice Manager who would like the opportunity to gain a breadth of experience managing a Duty & Assessment Team, with the support of experienced Team Managers.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing a duty and assessment team for Children Services, maintaining quality assurance, providing management oversight, robust decision making, and promoting outstanding, child focussed practice, in order to safeguard children.
Practice Managers will have opportunities to develop strategic management skills, through lead areas and receive mentoring from an experienced manager, in order to meet their own career aspirations. If successful you will be reporting to an experienced Team Manager, overseeing a high performing, stable, permanent Social Worker Team.
This is a full time, permanent post.
To apply for this post, you must submit an online application form along with uploading a copy of your CV and cover letter.
