Redbridge is an ambitious, diverse and exciting east-London borough. What we do is driven by changing our relationship with local people to support our vision. As a result, we've developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council.

We're one of the fastest growing parts of the country and the third most diverse London borough. Our communities are attracted by a mixture of excellent schools, relatively affordable housing, high-quality open space and rapid transport connections into the heart of the City.

Redbridge Education, Access and Inclusion Services have exceptional specialist support services delivering to a wide range of schools and education settings. We expanded this central service in September 2021 to include a dedicated school focused Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy service.  The Redbridge SEND Therapy team are now successfully delivering support to children in Redbridge schools with EHCPS.

We are looking to appoint an experienced SALT team manager to oversee the SALT team as  maternity leave cover.

The well supported role will be expected to provide clinical and managerial leadership which inspires, motivates and empowers Therapists in the delivery of excellent service experience for children and young people with special or additional needs.

In addition to supervising and developing the staff reporting to you, you will work with MDT colleagues to further develop services and pathways, keeping the team at the forefront of the latest developments and advancements in therapies provision.

We will provide you with:

  • Excellent CPD opportunities and career progression
  • A supportive management team.
  • A competitive salary and pension package
