Charge Hand Supervisor
Norlington School and 6th Form is a small 11-16 boys’ school with a mixed 6th Form. Over the past 10 years the school has transformed itself into one of the highest performing schools in the country and has been recognised by the Minister for State Schools on three separate occasions for student achievement. Over the past 4 years the school has grown in size to 162 students per cohort and remains oversubscribed.

Norlington School requires an experienced Charge Hand Supervisor to work in a busy, friendly education environment, supporting staff and students.
The role is to supervise and monitor the work of your cleaning team including; planning and managing the work of the team setting the standards required in order to maintain a high-quality environment for all staff and students. Whilst monitoring and reviewing your teams’ performance, you must proactively communicate and provide informal management support on a day-to-day basis.
You will need to make sure that all materials and resources are effectively and efficiently utilised to minimise waste and reduce costs, you must ensure that you and your team comply with all Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices as required by current legislation.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be flexible as the role will be demanding and the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
You will work 20 hours per week 6.00am until 10.00pm Monday to Fridays (52.14 weeks per year). Temporary for 1 Year.
Posts will be subject to a Prohibition check for all roles involved with the management of pupils. Norlington School and 6th Form is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of
