From 30th October 2023

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Family Support Worker & Deputy Safeguarding Lead to work across the school supporting some of our most vulnerable families. Working closely with designated Safeguarding Leads within the school, the successful applicant will implement and manage the day-to-day safeguarding work of the school, as well as working with families to overcome barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will be:

  • skilled in forming positive working relationships with a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity
  • reflective, flexible and thorough;
  • approachable;
  • caring and committed;
  • experienced in implementing school policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, child protection and family outreach work.
  • motivated, highly organised and able to manage and prioritise a varied workload

Training and a full induction will be provided including a 6 week handover with the current post holder.
