About the role

The Housing Options Service is looking to recruit a Rent Income Collection Team Principal who would be responsible for the day to day coordination and supervision of the Rent Income Collection Officer and Housing Officer team. You will monitor the mechanisms of rent arrears recovery and the Housing Options Service’s overall performance and assist in developing partnership working so as to maximise income recovery.

 

You will have good leadership skills and experience of managing a team in a public sector organisation. Confident and experienced, you will be comfortable managing a team working under high demand at the forefront of the service.

You will possess good knowledge of best practice in rent account, arrears management and tenancy management and have experience of income collection and arrears management.

You will be ambitious and willing to lead on new, innovative ways of working at the cutting edge of practice in this area. You may have an existing background in the homelessness sector and are interested in taking on more responsibility and a new challenge in the sector.
