Arts, Heritage and Events Officer

£40,614 - £43,815

36 hours per week - 6 month fixed term contract

We're looking for a candidate with experience of working in an arts and culture environment, creating participatory arts and culture programmes and a genuine passion to increase participation, particularly of diverse communities.  In addition you will have a wealth of event management experience.

You will enjoy the opportunity to be creative, be able to influence both peers and senior managers whilst developing good working relationships with them, excellent time management skills. You will have excellent IT skills and be confident in the use of social media.

This role will be instrumental in delivering the borough's cultural strategy priorities and would be ideal for someone who is creative, self-motivated, works both independently and as part of a team and enjoys new challenges.
