About the role
These are casual positions and your working hours will be as and when required. These roles will include shift work including weekends and bank holidays.
At Hillingdon we are always looking to improve the way we deliver services to our residents. We have now developed Casual Support Worker roles to work across Adults and Children's Services ensuring the best possible care and support is given.
Whether you are facilitating and encouraging adults with learning disabilities and complex support needs in activities appropriate to their needs and abilities, or supervising young people between the ages of 12-17 years with their day-to-day life, the job will be really rewarding. The roles will involve ensuring there are support plans, risk assessments and behavioural plans in place and you will undertake the necessary activities monitoring and reviews.
As a Casual Support Worker you will benefit from working across a range of Hilllingdon's services to include supported living, respite care, residential homes and resource centres.

About you
Flexibility and a passion to deliver the best possible care and support are key attributes. Experienced with working with children, young people and/or adults, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to understand and support our service users' complex physical and emotional needs. Training will be offered and you will be encouraged to find creative approaches to ensure our service users maximise the opportunities open to them.
