Sports Coach

Hours: 21 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year). Working days and patterns to be negotiated with succsessful candidate (expected to be over three or three and a half days). 

Salary: APTC Scale 5 (Actual Salary: £15,055 - £15,760: Full-Time Equivalent: £30,036-£31,443)

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: September 2023

We are looking to appoint a Sports Coach, who will deliver whole class and small group PE sessions, contribute to our extra-curricular program and support the development of our children and teams for compeitions and wider opportunities. We are proud of our foundation curriculum, with specialist staff delivering our Computing, Art, Music, French, and PE (including swimming) curriculum, with our children recieving an excellent quality of education in these subject areas.

We want someone who has very high expectations of themselves and the children they work with. You should have a good understanding of delivering and teaching PE and Sport and the vision and drive to make our PE & Sport provision excellent. You will be an excellent team player, wanting the best for the colleagues you work with, and willing to lead by example. You will be supported by colleagues and a Senior Leadership Team who are determined to ensure that every child flourishes whilst at our school.
