What does an Advanced Social Work Practitioner do at Hillingdon?

Permanent recruitment of an Advanced Social Work Practitioner is required to work within ASC Adult Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) to support and facilitate initial safeguarding enquiries and protection planning.

The role is to facilitate initial safeguarding enquiries and protection planning for Hillingdon's residents who are experiencing, or at risk of experiencing abuse or neglect. The role also includes carry a small caseload of complex full safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014, both as Enquiry Officer and Safeguarding Adults Manager.

Outline of Duties:

To act as Duty manager - to manage daily intake of safeguarding referrals and to triage cases alongside key safeguarding partners. Chairing daily safeguarding high risk meetings with a range of partners and being able to deliver results. Supporting team members with informal and formal supervision, allocating cases and supporting the Team Manager with any other additional duties as and when required.
