Installations Officer
Greenwich Telecare provides a 24-hour point of contact for vulnerable people, assisting them to live safely and independently in their own homes. Telecare is an accredited member of the Telecare Services Association.
Customer Services are seeking to recruit Telecare Installation Officer. Whilst full training will be given previous experience is desirable. You will need to have an enhanced DBS check and a full clean manual driving licence.
Your role will be to visit and install all type of Telecare alarms and peripherals, this will include possible use of a step ladder and power drill as well as connecting equipment via the phone line. A such this can be a physically demanding role and a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.
Candidates will also need: -
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Technical understanding of Telecare equipment
- To be Enthusiastic and committed to delivering professional and high-quality service
- To be able to deal with customers who are distressed/stressed/vulnerable
- To be aware of the range of services provided by the Authority
- Excellent communication skills written and oral
- Be able to work under pressure and on own initiative
- Be resilient and calm in emergency situation
