Rent Collection Officer (2nd Stage)

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Rent Collection Officer. The Rent Collection Team are responsible for ensuring all our tenants can pay their rent and arrears and sustain their tenancies.
You must have rent collection experience in a housing environment and be an excellent negotiator. You must have a detailed understanding of the pre-action protocol for social housing, an in-depth knowledge of relevant housing legislation, including benefits, debts and welfare reforms.
You must be numerate and have experience of dealing with account enquiries within a housing or finance environment. You will be IT literate, have credit control or debt management experience.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with an ability to organise your own workload, within a target driven environment. You must also be customer focused, a good team player and be able to work well with others.
This is a full time, permanent post.
