Attendance Officer
Hours: 5 days per week, 39 weeks per year, 32.5 hours per week 8.30am - 3.30pm (Term time only)
Salary: Scale 4, pt 7-10. Actual Salary: £19,835 - £20,828 per annum (includes holiday pay)

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, flexible and organised individual who would love to join our incredible pastoral team as our attendance officer.
Some of the main responsibilities of the role will include monitoring student absence, following up absences with parents liaising with the pastoral team and the Educational Welfare Officer to secure good attendance.
The successful applicant will be organised, hard working, an effective communicator and will be able to use ICT efficiently.
You will be required to work with key personnel in school and other eternal agencies. Applicants will need to be adaptable, creative and flexible and have the ability to work with minimum supervision.
The Royal Liberty School is a small comprehensive school for boys situated on a very pleasant Grade II* listed site. The school is in an excellent location, a short walk from the main line Gidea Park station to London, Liverpool Street. We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community and the excellent behaviour of our students.
Our results have shown impressive improvement over the last 3 years with the majority of subjects consistently above national average;

We recently celebrated our centenary (our main school building has a history dating back over four hundred years) and are proud of our tradition, our strong sense of community and the excellent behaviour of our students.
