Could you make a difference to the lives of Adults in Brent?

Brent is a tremendously vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. Spanning both inner and outer London, it is a borough of huge contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make up. Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.

The council is pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community so it is an exciting time to join us.

The Post

The post holder will manage, co-ordinate and quality assure the work of Brent Adult Safeguarding Board (SAB). The post holder will provide high level specialist safeguarding and strategic policy advice to the Independent Chair, the SAB, its sub-groups and partners. The successful candidate will be flexible, driven, and organised with experience of project leadership and management with the ability to drive continuous improvement whilst identifying themes or trends analysis and consultation.

As this position is supporting the fantastic strategic partnership arrangements we have in Brent, the candidate will also be able to show excellent communication, negotiation and planning skills which will complement and enhance the good practice already imbedded in Adult Safeguarding.
