Senior Construction Lawyer - MM2
We are looking to recruit a Senior Lawyer with experience in construction contracts including JCT and NEC. You will also have the ability to advise confidently on procurement, subsidy control / state aid, funding agreements, TUPE, contract disputes and other issues involved in construction projects.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and drafting skills and the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to a variety of audiences. 
The role will be embedded in the Contracts & Commercial Team and will involve cross-working with colleagues in the team, as well as across the wider legal department, plus some support and mentoring of junior colleagues.
This is one of 2 live roles within the Contracts & Commercial Team, to assist in the delivery of the Council’s priorities, working on some exciting and transformational projects. For the Senior Contracts & Commercial Lawyer role please refer to reference number CEX-000406.
