Brighton and Hove City Council has recently reviewed it’s Early Help services across the city. From April 2023 integrated multi-agency teams based in Family Hubs will provide a range of support to families and children aged 0-19 (25 with SEND) including delivering whole family support for families facing multiple-disadvantage. Our Family Hubs Social Workers will be an integral part of this team - working with families below the social work threshold enabling them to achieve positive outcomes.

About the role
You will be an integral part of the Family Hubs service, coordinating and delivering whole family support for families facing multiple-disadvantage on tier 3 of the threshold document to enable them to achieve positive outcomes including against the Supporting Families 10 outcome areas.
The Family Hubs social worker will supervise all aspects of work undertaken by Family Hub Connectors ensuring oversight of front line practice and the management of risk, including working with some complex Tier 3 families using relationship based practice. This will include the line management of this group of staff.
You will also have responsibility for identified thematic areas within the Family Hub strategy and service offer.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

Working arrangements are subject to Government guidance at the time. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
