The Role:
If you are a Social Worker or Occupational Therapist who is committed to increasing service user independence and wellbeing, who enjoys working with complex cases and who is looking to take their career into a management position, then an exciting opportunity has arisen for you to be the Deputy Manager of the Mental Health Reablement Team.
The team provides up to 10 weeks of focussed social care intervention for service users with a primary need of mental health. Utilising techniques such as motivational interviewing and task centred social work our team is passionate about ensuring service users have the best opportunity to thrive and to build upon their existing strengths and networks.
About You:
We are seeking a qualified Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with experience of working with people who have complex needs alongside a range of mental health issues to be our new deputy team manager. You will have experience of supervising staff and of working in partnership with colleagues from a range of statutory and third sector agencies. You will be committed to developing service user focussed services and have excellent leadership skills as well as knowledge of relevant legislation and policy.
You will assist the team manager in further developing and managing the service and, via supervision, team meetings and group reflective practice; you will assist in providing oversight, leadership and line management to our well- established, friendly and supportive team. You will have access to regular supervision and to a wide range of training and development opportunities.
