Community Equipment Service is part of Croydon and provides a vital service to residents, enabling them to maintain their independence at home. Through commercial contract partnerships with other local authorities we enable over 100,000 deliveries a year of essential pieces of health and social care related equipment. We are proud of our track record in delivering innovative commercial solutions which provide cost savings to eight local authorities, enabling resources to go further.
We have an exciting vision for future growth in our business plan delivering year on year commercial growth for our business. Our key development areas include new commercial contracts with public sector organisations and the development of a nationwide retail equipment & services business.
About the Role
To work a shift type pattern as per the demand from our Partners, Driving ‘multi-drop’ or ‘bed’ vans. Delivering, setting up, informing about and collecting community equipment and independent living aids in vulnerable clients’ home environments, in accordance with manifests issued by the Company’s order process.
We are looking for someone with good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly. The work requires fitness to assist in daily tasks. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate customer-focussed service and/or people care experiences and working on client or stock database systems.
