Exam Invigilator
Job introduction
Hours: ADHOC during exam season. Exams run throughout May and June.
Start date: May 2023
The Connected Hub is a specialist provision - we take year 11s with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Many are entitled to readers and scribes for their GCSEs, so we are looking for extra staff to fill these roles. Due to the nature of our students and their need for consistency, it would be very helpful if you were able to commit to being there for the majority of the GCSE exam dates below.
Each exam takes around 3 hours - including set up and rest breaks.
You should be able to write well in clear English in order to scribe.
Experience in schools or with young people, or in support/mental health is helpful but not essential.

The Central Hub Brighton is the SEMH specialist provision for the city consisting of Brighton and Hove Pupil Referral unit and The Connected Hub and has three bases across the city. We have good links with other educational organisations in the city.
