ABOUT THE JOB
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Commissioner to join our Public Health Commissioning team. The portfolio covers our commissioning of all age substance misuse services, Domestic Abuse services (community based service and specialist Refuge), and Supported Employment for substance users. The role will also oversee Supported Employment schemes for other vulnerable adults who are not Care Act eligible. While not having a lead portfolio responsibility, there will also be matrix working with our Rough Sleeping Team and Mental Health across the ICS. The role will oversee the management of a team of commissioners.
You would be joining the team at a key and exciting time. Cabinet recently agreed the ambitious and transformation plan for this area and as a result the team capacity is being increased to take account of the work plan. In addition, there are also increasingly close links being made with our place based Integrated Care System.
