Vacancy for lunchtime play leader
(Scale 2 – 5hrs pw Mon – Fri 12.00 – 1.00pm)
Required for January 2023 (or sooner)
St Bartholomews Primary School are seeking a friendly, energetic and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children to join our team of lunchtime supervisors. The role involves supervising children in the school dining hall and playground, and initiating games and activities with them. The ideal candidate will be an active, energetic and enthusiastic individual who can build a good rapport with children from all year groups across the school. We are a diverse Church of England inner-city school with a strong commitment to inclusive practice and we have great children who are eager to learn. We are a committed staff team with supportive Governors and Parents and the school is a caring and friendly environment.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Work with children to create an enjoyable lunch break, engage in conversation and games with children across the school
- Work as part of a team of adults including teachers and other support staff, to promote the learning and well being of all pupils
- Take responsibility for the supervision, health and safety and control of pupils during the midday break both during dining and play
