The successful candidate will be responsible to the Assessment and Placement Team Manager for duties associated with statutory functions in relation to the implementation of the SEND Code of Practice  and the EHCP process.

The team is responsible for carrying out all the statutory assessments as part of the EHC  planning processes.   The postholder will collate person centred, outcome based statutory assessments.  They will work closely with children and young people, their families and their carers, and with early years settings, schools, colleges, independent schools and a wide range of internal and external agencies.

The candidate should have a good knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and ,ideally, have experience in working with children and young people with SEND.
