About Us:

We are seeking to recruit three outstanding Business Intelligence Officers to deliver on our new vision for performance data.  Are you a team player who has knowledge, passion and technical skills to improve the quality and delivery of Children & Young People services through data provision and data analysis? If so we would like to hear from you.

We are reimagining our Business Intelligence service delivery as the critical driver behind effective decision making across the directorate. You will play a key role in this ambitious and creative process.

The Role:

  • To deliver developer and analytical support across Children and Young People’s Directorate using various software applications including Power BI, Business Objects, LCS/EHM.
  • Managing the development of sophisticated Business Intelligence dashboards and visualisation tools to inform service and directorate wide reporting and management information priorities.
  • To produce and present written reports, statistical analysis, and briefing notes to inform Service Improvement across the Children and Young People’s Directorate
  • Support the management of verification of outcomes for families and the submission of Payment by Results claims including the audit of such claims.

Location:

The service is primarily based in Laurence House, 1 Catford Rd, London, SE6 4RU, however we operate a hybrid approach as determined by service requirements.

What we’re looking for:

A technical and strategically astute analyst to combine your expert knowledge of data use with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks to help us scope, build and launch a cutting-edge performance management framework for the Children & Young People Directorate.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, customer insight-driven and well versed in optimising complex BI capabilities. You will be tasked with designing and executing inventive strategic data architecture that improves the quality and effectiveness of the directorate, challenging the status quo and building for the long term.

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
