This HoS2 (Service Manager Looked After Children) post is being recruited to internally. This is an excellent opportunity for any internal candidate who feels they are ready to step up and demonstrate the transferable skills and technical expertise to manage a demanding large service area within the LAC and Leaving Care Service within Children and Family Services. The post holder will report to the Head of LAC and LC.
The successful candidate will be a member of the Children and Family Services operational management group with opportunities to make a real contribution to quality of life in the borough and the life chances of its children and young people as well as having the support of a richly experienced team of colleagues.
All candidates must be registered social workers with Social Work England, be able to demonstrate management skills and have a wide knowledge of the needs and pressures of this service area.
