Concierge (Security)
Job introduction
We are looking to recruit a Concierge (Security) Officer to join our existing team.
About the role
You will be an experienced Security Officer holding at least one of the following SIA licences:
- SIA Door Supervisors Licence
- SIA Public Space Surveillance CCTV licence
The Concierge Team provide a first point of contact to the public at multiple sites across the city. As first point of contact you will take pride in the level of customer service you provide to members of the public, visitors and colleagues.
You will have excellent communication skills, confident in the use of IT equipment and Microsoft Office, self-disciplined and motivated.
Not only do the Concierge team provide first point of contact across council sites we also monitor CCTV at 11 libraries sites across the city ensuring that the role of Concierge is role varied.
We are looking for customer focused, self-motivated individuals that can work unsupervised. You will join an existing team sharing duties on a rota basis covering all duties as described in the job description.

Permanent Contract 37 hours a week, weekend working

Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
Work Permits: This role does not meet the requirement for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System. Successful candidates will need to evidence that they have the Right to Work in the UK.
