Senior Practitioner
Grade 9- £46638-£50700pa
The post holder will be a registered Social Worker ?occupational Therapist and must have at least two years post qualification experience, with significant experience of undertaking safeguarding enquiries and providing support and guidance to staff. The post holder will need to have a good working knowledge of The Care Act and The London Multi Agency Safeguarding Policy and Procedures alongside other relevant legislation. You should have a strong understanding of Adult Social Care and the services that support and work in partnership to maintain safety of adults at risk. The post holder will have supervisory responsibilities and will deputise for the Safeguarding Lead when required.
You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong analytic skills and the ability to work well in a busy environment, as an individual and as part of a team. As the Adult Safeguarding Team is part of the MASH there is a strong emphasis on partnership working and the post holder will be required to foster these relationships. As a Senior Practitioner you will have oversight and management of the Safeguarding duty system and outcomes, provide advice and information to partners and colleagues and support to embed high standards across the service, undertake SAM role as well as representing the team/service at relevant partner meetings .
