We are recruiting to 8 Estate Services Coordinator posts across 4 teams. One team is based in the north of the borough in the Holland Walk Area Housing Team; another team is located at 163 Downham Road and the central team are based at 222 Upper Street. 

The main responsibilities of the role are to ensure estates are maintained at the highest possible standards of cleanliness, safety, security and appearance.

We have an opportunity for a motivated, customer-focused team players with a genuine interest in housing, to help us deliver excellent housing services and take forward our exciting and challenging improvement plan.

The main responsibilities of the role are to ensure estates are maintained at the highest possible standards of cleanliness, safety, security and appearance.

In addition, leading a team of caretakers, responsible for all aspects of their line management, including: overseeing and supporting their training and development, conducting of regular one to one supervision meetings and assessment of health and wellbeing, health and safety compliance, performance, conduct and sickness absence management, in accordance with Council policy and procedures.

You will be responsible for monitoring and taking corrective actions of services associated with estate management functions, such as waste and recycling, grounds/greenspace maintenance, communal repairs and estate lighting.

You will be required to work collaboratively and develop strong working relationships with other teams and partner agencies, such as refuse, repairs, new build and project teams, tenancy management, community safety, police etc.

You will also work closely with residents and resident groups to ensure their enquiries and requests for service improvements are met (in so far as is reasonably practicable).

You will also be required to work weekend - approximately 1 weekend in 10, for which an additional enhancement will be paid.
