Housing Regeneration Officer

Grade 6 £32,112-£35,496 per annum

This post is a one year fixed term position. The hours are 36 hours per week.

About The Job/You

The post concerned is located within our Resident Services Team who are responsible for providing housing management services to Havering’s general needs stock. The team are also responsible for managing the transition of moving tenants off estates awaiting demolition and settling them into new developments, as well as managing the temporary tenancies that are created whilst the redevelopment process is being worked through. The Officer is also responsible for the security of estates and assisting those temporary tenants to sustain their tenancies.

The Officer would also be the main point of contact for resolving resident’s issues and the principal point of contact for other council departments and agencies to liaise with when undertaking work relating to our Regeneration sites and when completing casework.

We then require a highly motivated individual with some previous housing management experience to join our busy team.

The post is for a one year placement in order to cover an existing vacancy.
