We are looking for a brilliant person to manage all the digital platforms and content for the Community Engagement Team. We want someone who can develop innovative ways to raise awareness and engage communities with a key focus on understanding community need and improving services.

This is a new post to develop our digital engagement approaches. It is 18.5 hours per week that can be worked flexibly both from the office and home working.

About the role

We’re looking for a Digital Engagement Officer to join our team and help support the growth and development of our engagement with tenants, leaseholders and residents of the city.

It’s a powerful thing to connect with other people over shared experiences and to come together to bring change. Now more than ever, people are turning to the online world to form connections, seek information and find support.

We’re looking for someone who has a passion for community engagement, an understanding of the importance of co-design, and will work proactively and flexibly to meet the ever-changing needs of a very active and engaged community. We also want someone who is skilled in reaching new communities as we are especially committed to widening our engagement opportunities and practice to reach more diverse and minoritised communities.

You’ll make sure that we are capturing community insights, and ensure that these help to shape our strategic focus.

So, if you’re a whiz at creating fun and informative community content, understand the importance of bringing a human touch to moderation, and would bring passion and excitement to the continued development of our digital approach to reaching communities, we’d love to hear from you.

The post holders will be expected to be in the office some days to create great connections with the team but this role will retain some flexibility working from home (hybrid working).
