About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Finance: Care & Corporate Services to join our team.

You will use your skills and expertise to Lead, manage and motivate the Finance Business Partnering and Management Reporting team, ensuring that there is a culture of high performance, strong engagement, and a commitment to continual improvement.

This is a senior level opportunity to take the lead on evolving and driving the finance function to facilitate the business’s ongoing transformation mission, delivering a best-in-class function.

You will provide meaningful financial and commercial leadership, insight, and robust challenge for the business, enabling delivery of the organisational goals and objectives, whilst ensuring the integrity of the financial reporting.

Partnering with the Executive Director: Care, Supported Housing & Inclusion and the Executive Director: Corporate Services, you will lead the finance agenda for the new Peabody Group, supporting on strategic plans and key business challenges.

You will promote our values throughout the business which generates value for money whilst recognising and promoting the absolute importance of putting our customers at the centre of our business.

About the person

We are looking for an inspiring motivational leader to develop a highly skilled, high performing finance team who are in turn motivated and have the capabilities to deliver excellent customer service across the business.

Your ability to create a strong impact with gravitas and high energy level, demonstrating resilience will be relevant for this role. You will be performance focused, and result driven with an action oriented pragmatic style, committed to delivering initiatives on time and to budget. Clear in directions, and unrelenting in execution. You will be a CCAB qualified accountant with post qualification experience.
