Are you a child-centred, committed and creative Social Worker looking to take your career to new heights? If you are passionate about building relationships with children and families at their first contact with Children’s Social Care, focused on working towards positive outcomes for children and have at least 1 year of post-qualifying experience in a statutory Children’s Social Care team, we would love you to apply.

We are currently recruiting social workers for our front door Assessment and Intervention Team. As an A+I Social Worker, you will work as part of a fast-past team responding to child protection needs and undertaking child and family assessments. Under the guidance of your team manager, your team will be on duty every 5 weeks. You will support children and families through the assessment process, up to co-producing step-down, Child in Need and Child Protection plans. Previous experience of Section 47 investigations and child and family assessments are desirable.

If successfully shortlisted, you will be invited to partake in stage 1 and 2 of the interview process (a group challenge and written exercise) on 7th October 2022. If successful in stage 1 and 2, you will then be invited for a panel interview on 17th October 2022. Please keep these dates free.
