We are currently looking for two experienced, motivated and customer focused HGV Drivers to work within our Refuse & Recycling team.
If you have good driving and organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workload and communicate effectively with the team and our customers across the city – then we would like to hear from you. You will be working as part of a team, but you will at times be expected to work independently and under your own initiative.

About the role
You will be required to drive a Class II LGV vehicle complying with the ‘O’ licence requirements, driving in a safe and professional manner in the interest of public safety. Responsible for leading and supervising a small team ensuring health and safety are adhered to when undertaking the collection of refuse and recycling. You will undertake vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks, providing customer-focused service to complete the removal of household, recycling, and other designated waste from a variety of locations.
- £31,970 (£25,927 plus £4193 contracted overtime, plus £1850 Market Supplement, plus £2320 bank holidays) to £33,813 (£27,514 plus £4449 contracted overtime, plus £1850 Market Supplement, plus £2320 bank holiday.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
