Job introduction

BHCC and Varndean High School have an exciting new apprenticeship position based in their school team.  This position is ideal for anyone that would like a career in an educational environment.

The apprentice would follow the Business Administration Level 3 standard.  This standard will develop the apprentice to use various challenging and exciting skills and knowledge and apply them in the workplace.

Below are some of the exciting activities the apprentice would be involved in

To support on Data Analysing, collate and present information required for the purpose of supporting the marketing of the school and admissions process of students

To contribute to the preparation and delivery of any project work appropriate to the team and service including learning to produce and deliver presentations.

Learn to update and maintain electronic and web-based bulletins, resources and information through the school system

About the role

The successful candidate will complete an Business Administration Level 3 standard Apprenticeship.

Business administrator / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education

This will include Functional Skills in Maths and English if these qualifications or equivalent have not previously been achieved

  • The Apprenticeship will be delivered by the Chichester College Group a. The delivery will consist of  regular workshops and one to one delivery and then knowledge skills and behaviours demonstrated in the workplace enabling the apprentice to complete a portfolio of evidence ready for end point assessment.  The end point assessment will consist of multiple-choice test, a presentation of a project that has been managed by the apprentice and a professional discussion. The apprenticeship duration is 21 months including 3 months End Point Assessment

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

In order to apply for an apprenticeship, you must have been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least the previous three years on the first day of the apprenticeship (or this includes EEA for UK or EEA Nationals with pre-settled or Settled Status) or have some other residency eligibility status.
