Training & Events Coordinator
What you'll do
Would you like to be part of an ambitious organisation truly looking to make a difference to the sector? The South East Consortium (SEC) is a not for profit organisation representing social housing providers in London and the South East. We exist to support the sector with procurement and sharing insight. SEC are providing customers with a growing range of services, networking and training.
Your role will be about supporting, administering and registering delegates for our exciting and sector leading training programme. You’ll take ownership of any enquires relating to training and support our Business Partnership team in the growth of this offer. You will be supporting our Training & Development Partner with growing the programmes uptake, improving quality through CPD and certification and developing new and innovative ways to invest in the sectors people.
The role will require you to work onsite at our Sittingbourne office at least once a week and the remaining days from home. Occasionally, you’ll be required to travel to external training venues.
What you’ll need
You’ll be well organised and enjoy working with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will be confident in using a variety of web-based software and Microsoft Office packages, to manage our delegate registrations. You’ll have experience or be enthused by customer facing contact including phone calls and emails. You’ll also need to be confident in sharing customer feedback with colleagues so that we can continuously improve our business.
The workload will be diverse, so you’ll need to be able to work on your own initiative and be truly committed to any challenge that comes your way. You’ll have the ability to put the customer first – every time.
Previous office administration experience and an understanding around training is desirable. Also, if you’ve worked for a contractor or housing provider with a little understanding of our sector that would be welcomed.

Inclusion & Diversity
At SEC we work hard to create a diverse and inclusive culture and environment where people are respected for who they are. Encouraging inclusion is not just about protected characteristics, it’s about celebrating differences of thought, opinion, experience, and perspective of each individual.
We’re all different in our own way and we want our colleagues to feel comfortable, that they belong, and are safe to be themselves at work, without fear of being judged or excluded, but valued for their contribution to our One Team approach.
