The City of London are seeking to appoint a full time Occupational Therapist to provide a Reablement and Adult Social Care service in the City of London.

The City of London is the smallest London Local Authority with a population of approximately 8,000 people. Known as the Square Mile it is situated in the heart of London with excellent transport links and has a vibrant and diverse community.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Occupational Therapist who can work autonomously and share our values, can understand, apply relevant legislation, and offer a flexible approach delivering positive outcomes for our residents.

Someone who is passionate about Occupational Therapy and determined to make a difference. You will have experience in manual handling, minor and major adaptations, rehousing support, Reablement, equipment prescription and be resourceful.

You will have knowledge of specialist assessments, outcome measures and work in a holistic, person-centred way with a strength-based approach to enable the residents to reach their full potential.

As part of a small People Directorate, we work and learn alongside colleagues in Children’s and Homelessness services. We work collaboratively with our colleagues in health, community rehabilitation teams, wheelchair services and facilitate hospital discharges and occasionally out of borough to provide a seamless service with an early intervention and prevention agenda.
