Soulbury EIP (Points 15 to 18) £57,748 - £61,566

Full-time (36 hours) | Fixed-term (12 months) position

We are recruiting for an experienced SENCO to join our team as a SEN advisor to support Enfield Schools from October half term or earlier, subject to pre-employment checks.

This will be a secondment to the Local Authority or a fixed term contract for one year. The post is full-time and will be paid at Soulbury Point 15.

The role involves:

  • Operational and strategic management of the SEND/Inclusion Professional Learning Programme, including financial budget
  • Delivery of some courses within the Professional Learning Programme
  • Fortnightly attendance at SEN Panel and associated reading
  • Monitoring of LA ARPs and report writing
  • Organising and hosting the termly Inclusion Briefing and supporting with the termly SEN Services Briefing
  • Support for new SENCOs
  • Ad-hoc responses to queries from SENCOs by email, telephone and face to face
  • Monitoring some Outreach Services
  • Supporting schools to audit SEND provision and action plan for school improvement
  • Support for schools that are graded RI or Inadequate or where there are concerns about SEN
  • Lead on and participate in SEN Reviews in schools
  • Promoting the development of new ARPs
  • Leading on and participating in LA projects that impact on SEN in schools e.g. Parent version of Ordinarily Available Provision, Outreach Support offer
