We're looking to recruit a Housing Supply Officer in the Strategic Housing & Development Team. The council has an ambitious affordable housing programme and this new role plays a key part in securing acquisitions to support this programme.

About the role
Reporting directly to the Strategic Housing & Development Manager, as the successful candidate you will have a duel role of supporting delivery of affordable housing through managing the council's successful 'buy back' programme and working closely with Hyde Housing on our partnership 'Homes for Brighton & Hove'. You will also be supporting strategy and policy development in work across housing.
You will need to be an excellent communicator, highly organised and able to determine priorities. You'll also be a team player willing to support your colleagues.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
