Working hours: 14 hours per week / 2-days per week

Salary: £ 28,300 per annum / pro-rata

Three Rivers, the Creative People and Places programme for the London Borough of Bexley, is seeking a Communications Coordinator to help us tell our story, the stories of the communities we work with, and encourage even more people to get involved!

This is an exciting opportunity for a good communicator with a keen eye for detail, who is interested in arts and culture marketing and communications, to join our small creative team and work closely with our Executive Producer to develop content ideas and deliver creative campaigns that can connect with local audiences, as well as the wider arts sector.

The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our website and social media platforms, creating and commissioning regular digital and design content to reach and expand our audience, such as social media assets, website content, commissioned texts and interviews.

In our first year Three Rivers has collaborated with local community centres, football clubs, hospices, and housing associations to do all sorts of things, from producing festivals, to running radio stations, becoming arts critics, and stitching quilts, and now we want to share what we’re up to more effectively.

So, if you think you can help us get the word out about the exciting things we’re doing in Bexley we’d love to hear from you.

At Peabody, where possible, we provide flexible working opportunities from day one to our employees, as we recognise the importance of a good work-life balance; and to improve our productivity and performance, we embrace agile working, which means if you are in a desk based role, that will be a hybrid of office and home working. If your role is in a client facing environment, appropriate base location will apply.

Our mission is to help people make the most of their lives and an important part of this is to ensure that our organisation reflects the wider communities we serve. We want to attract recruit and retain a diverse, inclusive and creative workforce to give us the best opportunity to meet the diverse needs of our residents and customers. We actively encourage applications from all groups and communities, as well as from BAME, LGBTQ+ and disabled people.
