We want to have a finance function that will build a brilliant team to meet the challenges of tomorrow. Following internal promotion, a Principal Accountant role within the Financial Planning section of the Corporate Finance team is currently being recruited to.
Principal Accountant (Financial Planning)
Reporting to the Financial Strategy Manager, this post plays a key role key role in the annual budgeting cycle, including collating budget statements and producing the budget roll forward whilst also maintaining central control of the integrity of budgets on Agresso.
The role will also involve collating information for internal reporting, in particular the monthly budget monitoring report. There will takes a lead in collating returns to Government including but not restricted to RO, RA and QRO. Finally, another responsibility of the post is responding to ad-hoc requests for information from senior stakeholders.
To be considered for this role you will be a CCAB qualified accountant or have significant experience of working at a senior level with in a large and complex organisation.
Finally, you must have good IT skills with excellent knowledge of office applications, in particular MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS Teams.
