Our skilled and Lexcel accredited Legal Team has a crucial role providing the full range and variety of expert services across all areas of the Council’s work.
If you’re an experienced and highly motivated legal professional keen to maximise your potential, then we’d love to hear from you. You will be joining a dynamic, supportive, diverse team, working in a relaxed but professional environment.
• You will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of working on local authority employment matters at a senior level . Experience of other civil litigation would be desirable.
• You will have excellent drafting skills and an eye for detail.
• You will be able to conduct your caseload with minimal supervision and will be accustomed to working at pace in a busy team.
• You will provide legal advice to a variety of audiences, including senior officers and undertake some of your own advocacy.
You must be a Qualified Solicitor/Barrister or Fellow of CILEX and hold a practising certificate.
