Housing Support Worker
We have an exciting opportunity for housing support Worker to join our Supported Housing team in South Essex. You will be contracted to work 37.5 per week covering a 7 day period on a 24 hour rota including weekends, bank holidays sleeping in additional paid received). The role of a Housing Support Worker is to visit people in their own homes whether within a scheme or community setting. You will be supporting customers on a one to one basis with specific tasks and objectives as per the customers support plan and maintain their tenancy.
This will include Supporting customers to access the community for social and educational activities, providing emotional support and personal care as required.
Whether it is taking part in a yoga / swimming, arts and crafts or going out for a coffee, be prepared to get stuck in!
You’ll need to be patient, calm under pressure and think outside of the box to find innovative ways to support our customers.
