This role is currently based from home due to COVID 19 until further notice. Peabody plans to move to a hybrid model of working which means that once our office refurbishment has been completed, the role will be part office (Waterloo) and part home based.

Reporting in to your Regional Sales Manager, we are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and proactive Sales Executive to join our growing team of sales professionals and help contribute to achieving Peabody’s goals and financial objectives. Delivering income is critical to future growth for Peabody and you will be responsible for meeting clear exchange and completion targets. You will be responsible for effectively selling a portfolio of new build properties; maximising sales revenue through the sale of Shared Ownership and open market sale products. You will also be response for achieving and hopefully exceeding annual sales targets from reservations through to exchanges. In a challenging market, we are looking for someone that is forward thinking and willing to take ownership of a selection of award-winning developments.  

As a valuable member of the team, you will be encouraged to use your communication and organisational skills and to drive sales. You will be supported to learn the portfolio of properties and trained with experts in the field to have a full understanding of the areas and what will be expected.

To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets (ideally in the property field). It is essential that you are highly organised and able to effectively prioritise and manage tasks, have strong communication skills (both verbal and written), and solution-focused with an eye for detail.

Purpose of Role:

To contribute to Peabody’s goals for growth through the resale of shared ownership homes and the purchase of additional shares through staircasing. To ensure all income and related targets are exceeded, and to provide excellent customer service to our residents.

Skills/Experience required

 

Essential

  • Experience of managing relationships with third parties including agents, solicitors and IFAs.

  • Demonstrable experience of achieving and exceeding targets and achieving KPI’s.

  • An understanding of the affordable housing sector, Local Authority and HCA requirements in line with the Capital Funding Guide.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage high volume numbers of sales and enquiries.

  • Highly organised, solution-focused problem solving skills, able to work under pressure in a dynamic sales environment and manage high volume of projects and deadlines.

  • Committed to delivering high quality customer-driven services, demonstrating best practice, and achieving best value.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to deliver quickly.

  • Working knowledge of and proven experience ensuring compliance with Data Protection laws, the Consumer Code and other relevant legislation.

  • Excellent numerical skills.

  • Have a full understanding of sales processes and legislation, particularly the Consumer Code.

 

Desirable

  • Demonstrable experience of working within a Resident Sales environment, preferably with experience of the shared ownership Resale and Staircasing
  • Experience of delivering excellent customer service with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A sound knowledge of the property market and sales processes & legislation.

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to provide a can-do approach to work with a strong customer focus.

  • Ability to plan and organise workloads to meet deadlines and targets.

  • Ability to work within a high-energy team and manage various projects at any given time.

  • To work required hours flexibly to meet business requirements.

  • Ability to adapt to change and learn new products and procedures as the business may require.

 

Qualifications  Required:

  • Good level of education to GCSE level. Experience of Microsoft office systems
