Local Area Plan Lead
Role purpose:
Peabody’s Communities team aims to help build communities that are healthier, wealthier, and happier. Following the merger of Family Mosaic and Peabody in 2017 we now have over 56,000 homes in 29 London boroughs, supporting over 111,000 residents and 8,000 care and support customers. We are currently in the process of expanding this year as Peabody is merging with Catalyst. Our increased scale gives us a more influential voice and the capacity to deliver more.
To better service our local communities the Peabody’s Communities team has adapted the way we offer our services to a more local approach in key boroughs so that we are better able to understand the issues faced by our communities, measure the impact of work, and deliver our services in partnership with key stakeholders.
Peabody have a great opportunity for a Local Area Plan Lead (Local Area Plan Lead) to join their team based in Islington. You will join us on a full-time basis in return for a competitive salary of £34,000 - £39,000 per annum.
Key results:
In this role you will:
- Manage a process of generating and analysing data (from reports and conversations/ interviews), to shape the local area plan for Islington.
- Develop and grow strategic partnerships within the borough with the local authority and other anchor institutions
- Manage operational partnerships, internally and externally, ensuring we work with those best placed to respond to residents needs
- Set up and implement new pilot projects and work effectively to scale current services
- Project manage delivery of projects and workstreams, ensuring milestones are achieved, impact is delivered, and evaluation informs future practice
Success metrics:
- Communication with all stakeholders is professional
- Written communications are clear, accurate, and proofread and able to author high quality reports and project proposals
- Inputs are collated, reviewed, and submitted according to deadlines.
- Strategy for Islington is completed with Action plans
- Relationships with external partners is established and maintained
- Programmes and projects implemented are on track and effectively delivering outcomes
- Residents report positive feedback on impact of the LAP strategy on their lives
