This position, based in Enfield Council’s Exchequer Service is responsible for the financial administration of the Councils Direct Payments Scheme. The Team is responsible for the administration of prepaid cards, payment of personal budgets, audit and monitoring of account activity, and providing front line support to customers in relation to all financial aspects of the Scheme.
Key responsibilities:
Audit and monitoring of bank account activity
Frontline support to internal and external customers
Ensuring customers are paid promptly
Administration of prepaid cards
Candidate requirements:
- Knowledge of Direct Payments of similar accounts payable functions
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, including interpreting detailed and complex financial information
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines
- Exceptional customer services skills and experience
