Street Cleansing Driver Supervisor
Job introduction
We are currently looking for two highly talented, driven and self-motivated people to work within our Street cleaning team.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise their workload, communicate effectively with the team and our customers across the city. You will be working as part of a team, but you will at times be expected to work independently and under your own initiative.

About the role
The Street Cleansing Supervisor will supervise and control operational activities.
The role will involve supervising the workforce in the achievement of their daily tasks while ensuring the safe and efficient completion of the service within the requirements of the contract.
There may be the requirement to conduct team briefings, address staff on an individual/group basis and to also have some challenging conversations when required.
Duties include documentation reporting and implementing controls to ensure a work safe environment at all times.
Training for this position will be given.
Daily Supervision of street cleaners, attending meetings and liaising with the management when required. Attending community group meetings and meeting with residents. Assist with planning on events across the city.

- Monitoring workforce performance against targets to ensure all daily/weekly/monthly KPIs are met. Address any ongoing issues as appropriate.
- Ensuring that all Company policies and procedures and legal obligations are understood and adhered to by all members of staff.
- Developing and maintain excellent working relationships with customers.
- Help management to carry out safety training on a regular basis for all staff.
- Ensuring that safety checks are carried out on regular basis.
West area AM shift x 1
Monday to Friday, 6 am – 2 pm ( on contract 6:30 – 2:30)
Scale 5 £22,571 – £24,920 + 1hour contracted overtime
Central PM shift x 1
Rolling rota shift pattern 6 on 2 off
13:40pm – 22:00 pm
Scale 5 £22,571 – £24,920 + 1hour contracted overtime, + weekend enhancements, + unsocial hours between 8pm and 10pm.
All applicants for the roles must hold a clean C1 driving licence.
Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
