The Post
The Rent Accounting and Finance Officer will join a helpful and knowledgeable team which provides an efficient and professional financial administration support to the housing service.
Some of the key requirements of the post are; to complete regular reconciliations between the Housing Management System and General Ledger, ensuring target dates are met and that any remaining items are investigated and identified, Manage the Direct Debit process in line with the Direct Debit Guarantee scheme, updating of the Housing Management system in respect of all rent changes including lettings, voiding and rental adjustments.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have sound financial knowledge and administrative experience in a comparable working environment.
They will ideally have experience of working with rent accounts and transactional finance including the reconciling of multiple accounts.
They will be able to demonstrate the ability to be solution-focused, with a ‘Can Do’ attitude and a champion of great customer service.
You should be able to demonstrate an intermediate level of Excel (v-look up, Pivot tables, formulas etc) have previous experience of using housing management and financial system.
