We are seeking a talented and highly skilled individual that can join us to contribute in further developing the Wheelchair Service with this exciting opportunity.

The wheelchair Field Service technician role will work as part of a team alongside experienced therapists and other technicians to be responsible for the delivery, collection, repair and maintenance of manual and electrically powered wheelchairs and associated equipment. This will also include instructing carers and users in the use of stock equipment as per manufacturers’ specifications and clinical conditions.

The Wheelchair Service provides a vital service to residents, enabling them to maintain their independence in the community.

This is an exciting time to join our team delivering vital services locally and playing an important part in ongoing service development and excellence.

The successful applicant will need to have a broad experience. The post holder will also need to demonstrate effective communication skills and ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders related to clinical matters. This includes service users, professionals and technical staff.

Full time 36 hours per week
