Social Worker Positions available for Community and Hospital based roles
As a Social Worker within Adult Services, you will be key to providing quality social work to the people of Hackney. We will support you to achieve the very best outcomes for our residents.
You are a proponent of promoting every individual service user's independence wherever possible, and have a sound understanding of personalisation including use of Direct Payments.
You are also committed to working in an integrated manner with health colleagues as part of our innovative strengths based Neighbourhoods Model, and understand the value of working with the wider multidisciplinary team such as the Police, Housing, Primary Care, Education and Children’s services.
You will need to be Social Work qualified or equivalent and registered with Social Work England. You will have a sound knowledge of the key principles of the Care Act, the Mental Capacity Act and Safeguarding, as well as all other relevant legislation relating to the provision of services for adults with long term conditions.
We encourage applications from experienced frontline social workers within Adult Services, who are currently not within a line management role but who are wanting to take the next steps in their professional development.
