Delivering safe and carbon-neutral homes.

The Grenfell Tower tragedy resulted in the loss of 72 lives and caused significant trauma for the survivors and bereaved. It also resulted in a permanent loss of people’s homes.

Kensington and Chelsea manages the majority of new homes in which former residents of Grenfell Tower and Grenfell Walk now live. Working in close partnership with these residents, Grenfell Housing Services provide a bespoke housing management service, including repairs and maintenance of homes and communal areas, as well as major works and cyclical upgrades.

We are also working with residents to ensure that Lancaster West becomes a model 21st century estate.

We are committed to working with our residents and building on this progress, to maximise safety and ensure homes are carbon-neutral by 2030.

The Role:

You’ll help us deliver exemplary homes for our residents – one that sets a new standard for quality, responsiveness and energy efficiency.

You will be responsible for surveying properties and specifying repairs, overseeing complex major works, and ensuring that residents live in safe, secure and high-quality homes.

It’s a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic service that actively encourages initiative and solution focus in responding to individual residents’ needs.

Please refer to the Job Description for more information.

About You:

You will need experience of delivering property management services in a resident-centred environment. Well-organised, you’ll be equipped to deal with a busy workload and keep track of numerous projects and issues.

You will engage and update residents with empathy and be a key point of coordination to improve the quality of homes and block we manage.

You’ll be aware of the positive impact that a responsive, caring approach to housing management and a secure and well-maintained home can have on improved physical and mental health, and life chances.

In return, you can look forward to supportive and flexible ways of working, a high-quality pension scheme and generous annual leave plus bank holidays.

Please apply online explaining how you meet the requirements set out in the person specification and job description. CV’s alone will not be considered for this role.

Application process

Please do not upload any documents, including CVs/Covering Letters or supporting statements, as these documents will not be reviewed and could result in your application not being shortlisted.

You should describe how you meet the person specification requirements for the position you are applying for in Section G of the application form.
