Consultant in Public Health - Population Health
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Place-based Partnership in East London, covering two diverse areas within central London, as consultant in public health with the City and Hackney Population Health Hub (PHH). You’ll play a central role in improving the health of our local population and reducing health inequalities, by supporting the local integrated care system partners to take a population health approach. With the City and Hackney ICS director of performance and population health, you will have strategic responsibility for devising and ensuring delivery of the PHH work plan.
You will work across two local authorities and with local NHS and community and voluntary sector partners, providing public health expertise and advice and delivering key pieces of work to support commissioning, quality improvement and ensuring that prevention is embedded and prioritized.
This is an exciting opportunity for an effective system leader, with a broad understanding of health and well-being, backed up by relevant experience and technical expertise, including population health management. You will be able to communicate complex information in a way that engages a range of audiences and changes practice and behaviour.
Our ideal candidate will be on the GMC Specialist Register, the GDC Specialist List, or the UK Public Health Register for Public Health Specialists. If not currently listed, you will need to demonstrate inclusion within six months. Please note, a DBS check will be required for this post.
