About the role
We are looking for qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our team. Applicants must have experience of working with young children in an early years’ environment; experience of delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); experience of meeting the individual needs of young children and their families; demonstrate a passion and commitment for providing high quality care and learning opportunities; be qualified to a minimum Level 2 in early years and childcare and have excellent communication skills.
The roles involves being a key person for a group of children; building relationships; being an inspiration to the children; supporting attachment building; ensuring the children feel safe; planning activities; maintaining records; carrying out observations; assessing children and supporting growth and development.
We provide a full induction and training programme and ongoing support in the form of regular supervisions and appraisals.
We are recruiting to this vacancy of 30 hours bu there may be opportunities for further ad-hoc hours if interested.
About The Nursery:
Roundabout Nursery is located next door to Roundabout Children’s Centre, which has been purpose built to meet the needs of young children and their families. The nursery is open plan and provides children with lots of space to play and learn. We have large garden spaces where children can tend our chickens, grow vegetables, ride bikes, climb trees and explore nature. We have a play- based approach to learning in a fun, happy and calm atmosphere.

Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: This role does not meet the requirement for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System. Successful candidates will need to evidence that they have the Right to Work in the UK.
